Hi, I'm Courtney
Partner & Lead Financial Planner
Women face unique challenges when building, maintaining, and using their wealth. We are more likely to take time off to care for children and/or aging family members which leads to gaps in income and savings; the wage gap between men and women persists leading to lower lifetime earnings for women; and, on average women live nearly 6 years longer than men meaning our wealth needs to last longer as well.
Seeing and experiencing how the financial industry treats women, I wanted to create a place where women feel comfortable talking about their financial lives. We are here to support both single and married women in building and using their wealth. Our financial planning process considers the challenges women face while encouraging them to live their best lives on their terms.
"Our lives and careers are not linear, and your financial plan should reflect that. The financial decisions that look best on paper may not be optimal for your life. Our financial planning process gives you the information and support you need to feel empowered to make the best financial decisions for you and your family."
I live in Portland, Oregon, with my husband, two daughters, and two Cardigan Corgis.
I enjoy reading books, hiking, live music, cooking, spending time with my family, and visiting Portland’s many restaurants. I enjoy gardening, though only the hardiest plants seem to survive their time with me.
Favorite Hike: Trail of Ten Falls at Silver Falls State Park
Bucket List Travel Destination: Sweden
Why you love working with your niche: Women's financial lives are complex and made even more so by being underserved and misunderstood. I love taking difficult topics, breaking them down into smaller pieces, and working through them with my clients so they feel empowered to make the best decisions for themselves and their families.
